Sarina Smale
Ms Sarina Smale is a counsellor with qualifications in Social Work and a background in Early Childhood Teaching. She is an Early Childhood Specialist and a Senior Clinician. She is also the Manager of Stewart Consultancies. Sarina is committed to the wellbeing and learning of young children, and to supporting their parents and families, to give them the best opportunities to develop to their fullest potentials, now and in their future lives.
At the Alma Family Therapy Centre, Sarina works in counselling with children and their parents and families to enhance mental health and wellbeing. People are seen individually or together, and where needed, resources from the broader community are engaged to enrich these experiences.
Sarina is particularly interested in fostering the holistic development of children, from gifted children through to those with developmental delays. Sarina is dedicated to understanding children in their family and social settings, attending to their developmental needs and strengths- including underlying wellsprings of behaviour and emotional experience.
